Dear Society friends and colleagues:

A belated thanks for the beautiful plaque and generous monetary gift!

I so appreciate your recognition of my efforts to guide our Society as Your president in 2000-2002. Did it take a lot of effort? You bet. But what a worthwhile endeavor. Playing an active role on our Board allowed me to stretch my own capabilities and knowledge. I've worked with, and developed friendships with, fine professionals on whom I continue to rely. I value our Society and encourage you to participate not only in our quarterly workshops but as a Board member. I'm telling you, it's actually fun!

My special thanks to Gretchen Harris, our trusty treasurer; Marlene Gallo, our current president; and board members extraordinaire: Alla Borsen, Elaine Boylan, Ruby Green, JoAnne Grimes, Marsha Hurst, Lucila Jimenez, Kathy Wigfield, and Maureen Wilson. Your votes of confidence have meant a lot.
